Thursday July 17th, the
cohort arrived Bangalore with Lufthansa flight 754 by 1:30 am getting to Lemon
Tree hotel by 3:00 am. We got up early to have a first breakfast by 9:00 am. That
was very tiring as I was sleeping and eating my Indian breakfast. We had buffet
lunch by from 1:00 pm -2:00 pm which was followed by a talk "An
Introduction to India: History and Culture". Dr. Chirajavi Singh, who our facilitator for this introductory talk was
a former Ambassador of India to UNESCO. Dr. Singh-a Sheik intellectual philosophized
about the concept of Karman (the innate nature of things). It was this concept
that Indians own their ethos and coherence to .

BANGALORE
Bangalore, or Bengaluru, as it is known
today, was founded by Kempe Gowda, who built a mud fort at the site in 1537. It
has developed over the years into an industrial and technological hub in India.

The weather is pleasant but cloudy with
showers expected intermittently.
